Sea Buckthorn is a hardy plant with soil replenishing properties, growing where other plants can't survive. This indicates the therapeutic activity of the oil on your skin. Naturally high in Vitamin A, C and E with essential fatty acids to nourish and revitalise dull skin tones and promote deep restoration for weather damaged skin.
Calendula is widely used in skincare to heal and reduce inflammation, such as with eczema. It also exerts an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial effect on the skin, useful in the treatment of minor cuts, wounds and skin infections. Gentle on the skin, Calendula is suitable for all skin types, especially dry and sensitive skin types.
Kawakawa is one of the most important medicinal plants natives to New Zealand and is recognisable by its holey, heart shaped leaves. Preparations made from the mature leaves are used in traditional rongoā in cases of eczema, dermatitis and minor wounds to reduce inflammation. The inflammatory activity is attributed to myristicin & elemicin found in its volatile oils. Kawakawa is known to prevent infection, soothe pain, increase circulation and aid healing.
Harakeke is super hydrating, packed with natural skin nutrients and beneficial plant sugars called polysaccharides. Harakeke’s slight astringency is great for controlling breakouts and excess oil production, without stripping, scrubbing or harsh detergents. With potent active natural skin-conditioning compounds including humectant D-xylose, and pH-balancing D-glucuronic acid, Harakeke calms skin in a similar way to aloe vera. It naturally soothes and hydrates, while reducing redness. The extract’s skin softening properties improve skin’s appearance by supporting normal cell turnover.
Aloe Vera is traditionally used for its soothing and emollient properties. Known to calm irritated and inflamed skin, the cooling effect of aloe also has an invigorating and refreshing effect. Gels are quickly absorbed and support the absorption of other ingredients deeper into the skin. As a cleanser, Aloe gently cleanses and nourishes the skin without drying, as foaming cleansers can.

How to use:
Apply after cleansing. Put 2 pumps of this facial serum onto your palm, distributing it over your palms and then apply on your face, gently massaging your whole face, neck and décolletage. The serum can be used as a base before you apply your favourite facial moisturiser or used on it’s own.
