Raw COCO Slice

CHOCOLATE BASE
1 cup raw walnuts (pre-soaked)

1 cup raw almonds (pre-soaked)

2 1/2 cups dates, pitted 

3/4 cup cacao powder 

1 cup desiccated coconut

1 -2 table spoon melted coconut oil

COCONUT MIDDLE LAYER
3 Cups home made or store bought coconut yoghurt

5 tablespoons vanilla extract

¼ cup date syrup

¼ cup agave or rice syrup

¼ cup melted coconut oil 

CHOCOLATE FROSTING

2-4 tablespoon plant based milk

1 cup raw dark chocolate melted

2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the nuts and dates in food processor and process until finely ground.

Add the cacao powder, coconut and  sea salt and pulse to combine. Add the mixture to a small parchment lined 10x8 dish and press down with hands until it is flat and firm.

Add all the ingredients for the middle layer into a bowl and wish well all the ingredients together. 

Once well mixed, pour over the firmly pressed base layer and put into a freezer to get it set before putting the chocolate frosting.
