Bounty Bars
INGREDIENTS:
Bounty Bars
2 cups Desiccated Cocnut
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
β cup coconut cream
2 tbsp Coconut Nectar or Agave or Honey
Chocolate Coating
2 blocks of 85% Raw Dark Chocolate
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Place desiccated coconut, coconut cream and coconut oil and sweetener into a bowl. Mix all together.
Line a 15cm x 15cm container or tin with baking paper and lightly press the mixture into the container until itβs 2 cm thick. Cut into bars of desired size.
Freeze for 30 minutes until firm.Melt chocolate with coconut oil in a heatproof bowl. Dip one half of the bar into the chocolate. Gently shake the bar to remove excess chocolate. Place on a tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until chocolate is set and dip the other half of the bar. Place thin layer of chocolate on the top of the bar and sprinkle with desccicated cocnut.
Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
